Works on program GOSTOP, especially in the field of data gathering for the development of smart factories. In this field he cooperates with various Slovenian companies. He is particularly active in developing architectural models of smart factories and in gathering data needed for the development of smart factories and their digital twins.
Research fields
Industry 4.0: Development of an architectural model for smart factory design that includes all crucial technologies of Industry 4.0 and all the key building blocks of a smart factory. The architectural model shows the communication protocols between the building blocks of a smart factory and the locations of the digital twins. His research field is also the methodology for defining data for the digital twin.
