Course description

The objective of the course is to acquaint students with methods for analysing and modelling measurement data for automated characterisation, monitoring and prediction of the state of products, technical systems and processes. Presented will be methods and different techniques for the analysis, processing and modelling of measurement data. Students will acquire knowledge and methodology for the analysis of measurement data, empirical characterisation, selection, execution and grouping of informative characteristics. They are acquainted with different methods for empirical modelling of links between selected characteristics and declining* state of technical systems and processes. Students will acquire competence in the development of systems for solving practical problems in the area of analysis, indirect characterisation and automated assessment and prediction of the state of technical products, systems and processes on the basis of measurement data
