The main activity of the laboratory, which was established in early 1991, is the development of advanced basic knowledge that contributes to
better basic and applied knowledge of complex fluids (coexistence of two phases or aggregate states such as solid-liquid, solid-gas, liquid-gas
and liquid-liquid) and transport phenomena. The two-phase gas-liquid and solid-gas flows are not limited only to simple geometry, but also include
more complex systems with different types of boundaries and moving surfaces.

RESEARCH AREAS
n the LFDT laboratory, we conduct research in the following areas:
transient two-phase flow, principles of complex fluid dynamics, physical problems caused by flows, fluid-environmental structure interaction.
