On 24 September 2026, the Industrial Pneumatics Conference 2026 was successfully held at the premises of SMC Industrijska avtomatika d.o.o. in Trebnje, bringing together experts, researchers, and industry representatives from the field of pneumatics and compressed air systems.
Participants attended a series of engaging presentations covering modern trends and challenges in pneumatics, compressor performance testing, design and optimization of compressed air networks, and the role of end-use subsystems in improving energy efficiency. The program also included practical experiences with the implementation of ISO 50001, demand-side optimization approaches, and presentations of the latest energy-efficient pneumatic components and technologies.
The conference once again demonstrated the importance of efficient compressed air utilization as a key factor in reducing energy consumption and improving industrial competitiveness. The event provided an excellent opportunity for knowledge exchange, networking, and strengthening cooperation between academia and industry.
