ENGINE CONTROL
(Closed Loop Combustion Control)
(Closed Loop Combustion Control)
Advanced engine control is one of the crucial aspects for achieving enhanced energy efficiency and exhaust emissions of the internal combustion engines as well as for achieving improved performance of its components. We are strongly focused on Closed Loop Combustion Control in terms of developing demonstrators using RT hardware for in-cylinder pressure acquisition and processing as well as for engine control (injection pattern, ignition timing,…). CLCC modules incorporate self-developed prototypes of model based controllers relying on thermodynamics and combustion parameters as well as on virtual emission sensors.
