The equipment

Cincinnati 10HC-1500 is a CNC machine-tool, retrofitted with modern drives and controllers and represents a state-of-the-art retrofitting case study. The upgraded capabilities allow the machine to connect to other systems through local networking, use of modern CAD/CAM systems, real-time monitoring and energy consumption monitoring. In turn, principles of Industry 4.0 such as Industrial Internet of Things, Big Data analytics, and cyber-physical systems can be studied using this equipment.
