Lidija Slemenik Per\u0161e<br \/>\n<strong><em>Asistenta<\/em><\/strong>: Asist. dr. Marko Bek in asist. Alen Oseli<\/p>\n<p>Polimeri postajajo vedno bolj pomembni konstrukcijski materiali. Njihova uporaba v industriji hitro nara\u0161\u010da zaradi prednosti, ki jih ti materiali nudijo v primerjavi z bolj tradicionalnimi materiali kot so npr. kovine. Nekaj poglavitnih prednosti je: enostavno preoblikovanje, odpornost na korozijo, ugodno razmerje med trdnostjo in te\u017eo, ve\u010d- funkcijski namen uporabe\u2026 Od njih se pri\u010dakuje, da prena\u0161ajo obremenitve skozi celotno \u017eivljenjsko dobo. To zahteva napovedovanje dolgotrajne zanesljivosti konstrukcijskih elementov, kar nadalje zahteva poznavanje lastnosti materialov. Konstruiranje s polimeri je precej zahtevno ker so, za razliko od kovin, mehanske lastnosti polimerov mo\u010dno odvisne od \u010dasa. V okviru predmeta Nauk o polimerih \u0161tudentje pridobijo osnovna znanja na podro\u010dju vedenja polimernih materialov v teko\u010dem in trdnem stanju. Osvojijo metodologije karakterizacije taline in trdnih polimerov.
