Mechanics of polymers and composites

MECHANICS OF POLYMERS AND COMPOSITES

MSc, Research and Development Program, 1st and 2nd year

Lecturer: Doc. dr. Lidija Slemenik Perše
Assistant: Asist. dr. Marko Bek

The course Mechanics of Polymers and Composites provides students with basic and applied knowledge about the behavior of polymeric and composite materials. The students will gain knowledge on the specific features of the time dependent behavior of polymeric materials and the advantages that such materials offer in science and technology. They will master the mathematical approaches for describing the behavior of time-dependent materials in time and frequency domain and predicting the lifetime of products made of such materials.
