Thermal Characterization

Differential Scanning Calorimeters (DSC)

Differential Scanning Calorimeters (DSCs) are versatile instruments that are widely used to study the thermal properties of materials. DSCs find applications in a broad range of fields, including Materials Science, Chemistry, and Pharmaceuticals.

Our DSC techniques allow for the investigation, selection, comparison, and end-use performance evaluation of materials. Our DSCs are used for “Research, Quality Control, and Industrial Applications”. With our DSC techniques, we can provide you with following outcomes:

  • Glass transition temperature (Tg)
  • Melting temperature (Tm)
  • Crystallization temperature (Tc)
  • Enthalpy of melting (ΔHm)
  • Enthalpy of crystallization (ΔHc)
  • Specific heat (cp)
  • Product stability
  • Cure/cure kinetics
  • Oxidative stability

The DSC 2500 system’s 54-position autosampler features a new design with integrated auto lid, and laser positioning providing researchers with high-throughput, consistent sample loading and maximum flexibility in their experiments. The system also includes two quick-change trays and allows for unloading or disposing of pans, freeing up space for continuous sample queuing.
