NANOINDENTATION 

The G200 Agilent Nanoindenter is a powerful instrument that allows for precise indentation down to the nanoscale. It is typically used to measure a variety of mechanical properties:

  • Elastic modulus
  • Hardness
  • Toughness
  • Damping coefficients
  • Scratch tests
  • Wear tests

With indent depths ranging from a few nanometers to several micrometers below the surface, and an indent position accuracy of about 1 μm, the G200 Agilent Nanoindenter provides researchers with highly accurate and reliable data. The system features the Continuous Stiffness Measurement (CSM) module, which allows for continuous measurements during indentation, as well as the High Load module, which includes load up to 1 Kg.

The G200 Agilent Nanoindenter comes with several tips, including:

  • Cube Corner
  • Spherical
  • Flat Punch
