Termična analiza

TERMIČNA ANALIZA

Meritve termičnih lastnosti v laboratoriju opravljamo na napravi DSC, TA instruments, Q2500 z avtomatsko roko za menjavo vzorcev. Metoda deluje na principu kompenzacije električne moči. Znotraj komore se nahajata dve grelni mesti za referenčni in vzorčni lonček. Termična analiza se lahko izvaja na polimernih materialih v tekočem ali trdnem stanju. Po opravljenem testu dobimo DSC krivulje, ki predstavljajo toplotni toka (Q) v odvisnosti od temperature (T) in časa (t). Vsi karakteristični prehodi (temperature in entalpije) so definirane z ISO 11357 standradom. Parametri, ki jih določimo z DSC meritvami vključujejo:

  • Temperaturo steklastega prehoda (Tg);
  • Temperaturo tališča (Tm);
  • Temperaturo kristalizacije (Tc);
  • Entalpijo taljenja (ΔHm);
  • Entaplijo kristalizacije (ΔHc);
  • Specifično toploto (cp).

Meritve izvedemo v skladu z mednarodnimi standardi:

  • ISO 11357-1:2009: Plastics — Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) — Part 1: General principles;
  • ISO 11357-2:1999: Plastics — Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) — Part 2: Determination of glass transition temperature;
  • ISO 11357-3:2011 – Plastics — Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) — Part 3: Determination of temperature and enthalpy of melting and crystallization.
